Dear Alum,
The Baseball Program would like to thank you for breaking from your weekend schedules with your friends and family to join each other for the annual Alumni Baseball game here at Fairfield University this past weekend.
We had great weather. The new challenge to compete against the current team went well, following a lengthy batting practice and pregame infield / outfield for all who wanted / needed swings. We truly enjoy watching the faces of the alumni coming through the gate onto their old field and lacing up the spikes, or golf shoes, to rekindle their memories or just to give some verbal jabs to their old teammates.
Many of you took the opportunity to make a donation toward the program by purchasing your old jersey or number. These gray jerseys will now be available shortly on eBay through our “Friend’s” website creator Adam Samuelian.
Again, thank you for taking part in the Alumni Game and connecting back with our program, teammates, and friends from your days wearing the Stags uniform.
I hope to see you at a FUBA function this winter before the spring season is here.
